STS Model 1 Kit - A Creative Tool with All the Control

The STS Model 1 is an affordable system for a professional photographer to start making some exciting images. It's a fully modular creative tool that converges your existing equipment into a highly productive digital system. It's easines, precision engineering and modular design offers new possibilities and gives photographers back the controls of a view camera while maintaining the easiness of small format digital shooting.

The STS Model 1 is build around an aluminum bracket that easily secures to a Sinar P, P2 or X by replacing the rear carrier frame. The kit also includes a custom made bellows. This handcrafted compact bellows is extremely cool looking, durable and perfectly sized for small format applications. It differs from std wide angle bellows by been smaller and more rigid thus making it easy to keep clean. Just blow the bellows with compressed air to minimize sensor dust.

The STS Model 1 kit contents as pictured:
• aluminum rear carrier bracket
• camera plate
• allen key
• small format depth-of-field scale sticker
• neoprene bellows

Fully Modular System

The modular design also keeps the costs down. When we designed the system we anticipated possible changes to DSLRs and the possibility to customize this system for other brands than Canon. The bellows and the rear carrier bracket stays the same no matter what only the camera plate needs to be customised for future models as well as the bayonet on the bellows wether your shooting Nikon mounted camera or an EOS.

When you need to shoot vertical just tilt the Sinar sideways. This is very simple and actually is much easier than it may sound at first. If you need more extension for macro shooting just throw a Sinar mid frame and attach a std Sinar bellows to our bellows.
